Application

Small Diameter Pipes (NPS 1/8″ to 2″):
Chemical processing: Transporting corrosive fluids and gases in chemical plants and refineries. Grade 2 and Grade 7 are commonly used due to their excellent corrosion resistance.
Medical devices: Manufacturing surgical instruments, implants, and other medical devices requiring biocompatibility and corrosion resistance. Grade 5 and Grade 23 are popular choices for these applications.
Aerospace: Fuel lines, hydraulic systems, and other critical components in aircraft and spacecraft. Grade 5 is widely used due to its high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent fatigue resistance.
Medium Diameter Pipes (NPS 2 ½” to 8″):
Oil & gas exploration and production: Downhole tubing, pipelines, and process piping systems in offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities. Grade 5 and Grade 9 offer high strength and corrosion resistance for demanding environments.
Power generation: Condensers, heat exchangers, and other components in power plants. Grade 2 and Grade 7 provide excellent resistance to erosion and corrosion in high-temperature and high-pressure applications.
Desalination plants: Piping systems for seawater intake, brine discharge, and product water distribution. Grade 2 and Grade 12 offer excellent resistance to seawater corrosion.
Large Diameter Pipes (NPS 10″ and above):
Chemical processing: Large-scale chemical processing plants require high flow rates and corrosion resistance.
Water treatment: Piping systems for water distribution and wastewater treatment facilities. Grade 1 and Grade 2 are commonly used due to their cost-effectiveness and corrosion resistance.
Marine applications: Seawater piping systems for ships and offshore structures. Grade 2 and Grade 12 are suitable for their high corrosion resistance in marine environments.
