Application
C11000 (Electrolytic Tough Pitch Copper): This grade is used extensively in electrical applications where high conductivity is required, such as electrical conductors, motor windings, building wiring, and various electrical components.
C14500 (Tellurium Copper): Due to its high machinability, it is often used in applications requiring extensive machining, forming, and bending; it is commonly used in connectors, automotive parts, and industrial machinery components.
C14700 (Sulfur Copper): Similar to C14500, this grade is used where high machinability is critical. It is often employed in automatic screw machine products.
C36500, C37000, C37700 (Leaded Brass): These alloys are typically used in plumbing fixtures, architectural hardware, and decorative applications because of their excellent machinability and capacity for being hot forged.
C46400 (Naval Brass): This alloy is known for its high corrosion resistance, especially in marine environments. It is used in marine hardware, propeller shafts, and naval applications.
C48200, C48500 (Naval Bronze): These grades are used for their strength and corrosion resistance in marine and industrial applications, including gears, valves, and pump components.
C61900, C62300, C63000, C63200 (Aluminum Bronze): With excellent strength and corrosion resistance, these alloys are used in heavy-duty applications such as high-strength fasteners, marine hardware, and aircraft components.
C64200 (Silicon Aluminum Bronze): This alloy is utilized in aerospace applications due to its strength and resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
C65500 (High Silicon Bronze A): Known for its high strength and excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation, it is used in electrical applications, marine hardware, and chemical processing industries.
C67500, C67600 (Manganese Bronze): These are used in applications requiring a combination of high strength and resistance to wear and corrosion, such as in heavy-duty bushings and bearings.
C70620, C71520 (Copper-Nickel): These grades are particularly useful in desalination plants, shipbuilding, and heat exchanger components because of their excellent resistance to seawater corrosion.
C77400 (Nickel Silver): It is employed in decorative applications and musical instruments for its color and finish, as well as in contact areas on electrical components due to its conductivity.
